Home owner and private tenants Section 01

To increase the energy efficiency of your house, apply for government funding right now.

In order to combat fuel poverty and lower carbon emissions, the UK government launched the Energy Company Obligation (ECO) program. In addition to the Warm Homes Discount program, the government will give low-income and vulnerable households an additional ÂŁ4.7 billion in support between 2022 and 2026.

Energy companies are required by law to encourage the installation of energy-saving technologies, such solar PV or cavity wall insulation, that will lower your monthly energy costs. Existing heating systems can also be replaced or repaired with ECO money. To be qualified, you are not need to purchase your energy from a certain provider.
